Description

Ceramics: Hand and Wheel

Adults (16+)

5 sessions

Anna Freeman and Michelle Truslow

Get inspired by the art on view in our galleries, and work with local artists to create your own wheel-thrown and hand-built ceramic artworks inspired by nature.

This collaboratively taught series will combine the knowledge of two contemporary artists who use ceramics to deepen and honor their connection to the natural world. Together, we’ll explore form-building by hand and wheel, investigate methods of creating natural textures, and experiment with glazing techniques to create a range of earth-inspired effects.
