Photo III: Shoot Outside the Box

Expand your skills as a photographer and apply them practically in this newly designed class.  Shoot Outside the Box will combine a mix of classroom experiences and location shooting to strengthen your abilities in making stronger images. This class will provide opportunities to practically apply information on light, location, and composition as you work toward creating images that truly reflect your vision no matter the situation. Explore street, portrait, and landscape photography, among other genres, as you learn to see the scene before making images that begin to reveal your own personal style. Week one meets at MOCA, while other weeks will meet either at MOCA or outside the classroom, depending on the weather. Please bring your camera to the first class. Participants must have taken Photo I and/or Photo II or have a solid knowledge of the manual settings of their DSLR, as these things will not be covered in class.
