Simplifying Watercolors

Explore the subtle power of watercolors and learn how to transform a photograph or sketch into a simple yet expressive composition. An overview of the medium including color mixing, application, brushwork, and textural techniques will be covered through demonstrations and exercises. Each week students will progress in their own level of technique, design, and self-expression. Bring your own resources of photos or sketches to each class.
