Master Class with Charles Edward Williams 

Join exhibiting artist Charles Edward Williams for a Master Class inspired by his artistic viewpoint. Williams creates figurative works based on personal experience and his interest in human emotion and the natural world. Using color and gesture, Williams creates a contemporary response to social and political issues of the past and present. Williams will lead participants in creating their own paintings on mylar. The workshop will focus on brush handling, application techniques, and connecting intention and mark making to the body, mind, and spirit. Students are asked to bring 2-3 objects to be used as still life for the subject matter of their painting. Participants must also bring their choice of oils or acrylics and brushes.This unique and personal experience is a fabulous way for participants to have one-on-one interaction with a contemporary artist.
