Ceramics II & III

Students will explore intermediate and advanced techniques to improve their ceramic skills. The class is designed to give individual attention to each student and their specific needs with the intent to refine skills and improve their work. Exploration of new areas of contemporary ceramics are encouraged. Working in various areas of clay such as,wheel throwing, handbuilding, and sculpture are addressed in the class as well as finishing, decorating and glazing techniques.  Students are required to purchase a basic ceramics tool kit (available at Michael’s or Jerry’s Artarama).  All clay must be purchased through MOCA.
